On-Street Parking Laws Reminder
On-street parking is limited to 24 hours. There is no parking on a public street between the hours of 2 am and 5 am. Also, there is no on-street parking when there has been a snowfall of 2 1/2 inches or more until the streets have been plowed curb-to-curb. Those wishing to park on the street overnight must notify the police department at 763.509.5160. You will be asked to provide the location, the reason you need to park on the street, your name and phone number. You may receive permission to park on the street for temporary situations that arise which prevent you from using your driveway, such as driveway seal coating, remodeling, construction, or overnight guests when cars will not fit in your driveway. The police department does not issue long-term or permanent parking waivers.
